One of the most helpful things our clients do at the scene of an accident is take good pictures and video of the scene. These pictures and videos are evidence of what occurred and can be published to a jury during trial. They may also be crucial in showing the extent of damages and even proving that you were not at fault in the accident. If you are a passenger in an Uber or Lyft, do not rely on the driver to take pictures and videos. It could be that the driver was at fault. So get out and of course be safe and ensure that it is safe to do so and take pictures and videos. If you are so hurt that you cannot do not do it.
